WHAT DO GTL's MEAN
FOR ALASKAN & US WATERS

BIODEGRADABLE & NON-TOXIC FUELS !

In early August 2001, the fishing vessel Windy Bay sank in Prince Williams Sound spilling an estimated 30,000 gallons of diesel into the pristine waters.

By late August the State of Alaska had spent over $ 3 million trying to clean up the spill and its effects on the surrounding shore line. That is $ 100/gallon, pretty expensive diesel.

Had the Windy Bay been carrying synthetic diesel this may have been a non event because the US EPA has approved F-T diesel as a non-toxic and biodegradable fuel.

All marine vessels operating in US waters should be required to use F-T or biodegradable synthetic diesel.
