Considering the time it takes to make petroleum products - 100 to 400 million years; Bio-Renewable fuels, capable of being manufactured in 3 to 4 months makes sense from a "Good Neighbor" or "Energy Steward" point of view. Considering the U.S. has the highest energy use per capita of any nation in the world - maybe it's time we did our share to conserve petroleum resources and utilize re-newable forms of energy. From a Green House Gas Emission point of view it makes even more sense. Plus with Koyoto CO₂ credits available the feed stock costs could be lower.
